Bullshit. People were allowed to exercise their right to vote and it counted under the rules in place since the Electoral College was invented to ensure fairness in the election process. No one was disenfranchised by the current system.

That's not the issue. Article I, Section 10 of the Constitution specifically bans "compacts" without having congressional approval. I think the Court will find this is such a compact that requires congressional approval and the president's signature will be required to pass it into law.
