Fairness, in any situation, is determined by rule of the game.

If a World Series team wins the first three games 30-1, then loses the next four 2-1, they are not declared the winner of the series for having more runs. They are the loser because they could not dominate the other team for four games out of seven.

It is a good metaphor. The requirement for becoming president isn't that you have the votes of urban dwellers sewn up.

But specifically, you have to understand that the United States is formed among states, NOT SMAs. The fact that LA, SFO, Chicago, NYC, and other urban areas prefer one candidate does not negate the fact that entire states are governed by the United States of America.

To govern the state of Arkansas as though Little Rock were the entire state would be an outrage, essentially, disenfranchisement of voters from small cities like the one I live near.

And few areas outside of those urban areas are going to fall for this...
