Temp and all, 'Couple of things: First: from the Feb 98 Internet Magazine: [sidebar on p. 28]
Title: Internet Jolts Mundane Fax Business (the address is zdnet.com but I couldn't find the text for this particular article.)
...The golabal fax transmission market, a $38 billion business annually, is the obvious target for UUNET, the worlds largest Internet Service Provider. UUNET, a unit of WorldCom, aims to transform its backbone of more than 1,000 points of presence into a global fax network that could reduce users' transmission costs by half...
Some estimate that UUNET will spend as much as $2 million to build an extensive fax network, or the equivalent of putting a $70,000 fax server at each of the 100 business centers it plans to keep around the world...
Competitors are weary of UUNET's moves...
After considering everything that has happened since I was lucky enough to happen upon this fine company and stock, my critical, methodical, response is DAH DAH DAH !!!
Second: Whatever Frank is receiving in compensation, HE IS WORTH IT AND MUCH MORE. You too Helen and crew.
Third: We are finally on the brink of everything we hoped and dared to believe. If you want to sell, go ahead I need a few more blocks to round out my holdings I want an even 10k.
Home: To Keith's Father-in-Law: BOB, I'm glad you didn't sell
