Ed and All, I apologize in advance if this info has already been posted. I am not in diamonds right now but I did catch an interview with A VP of DeBeers on TV. It was out of Vancouver where they are opening up an office. Part of the reason is to persuade Canada to join their monopolistic cooperative marketing board that a few have jumped ship from lately. He seemed quite upbeat about Canada and obviously mentione the Dia Met and another major that will be producing soon. He threw out numbers like Canada will be soon producing 15% of the world's diamonds etc. I think it was on CBC so it is on the public record somewhere.
