MB, A number of posts back someone produced a copy of a speach by Greenspan, in which he expressed the desire to return ot the gold standard. It would seem to fall into his general line of thoughts or hopes but I can well imagine that there are too many forces working against his ability to do so at this time. Would a major correction be the only way to revert to the gold standard?
