Lisa,
The premiums on the Asian options do look high.
I have back tested my system for the HK/JPN markets and have discovered that it is fairly accurate on the long side, but not as accurate on the short side. Dont ask me why, dont know.
From just the candlesticks, there are signs that HK/JPN are topping off.
I suspect that the downside will be limited. Please keep in mind that most of the Asian markets have already gone through their TDD, so unless their is further bad news, I would consider any pullback as just profit taking and normal/technical in nature and should not be that large.
Lisa, so far this morning most of the earnings have been good and exceeded earnings (Airlines(ugh), Banks), but I just heard that on CNBC, that Painter of Merril(whoever she is) reduced PC unit growth are something like that. She is cutting estimates on the PC stocks and also MSFT.
If you recall I had previously indicated that most of the HiTechs were overbought, so this could news could help pull the NAZ down or flat, especially since she included MSFT in her estimate reduction. Does that mean the I wont get my MSFT Puts at 140 gggggggggg.
