It is very convenient foe the Westerners: EU and US to have one NATO member inside the One Belt One Road The Italians are the insiders that will try to get as much information from the inner workings of the One Belt One Road It a 'keep your enemy close' Europeans are NATO members and as such they have their own cyber infrastructures to defend ncia.nato.int Therefore the Europeans are not just going to turn their backs to NATO and embrace the Chinese plus Huawei willy Nilly. Therefore consider all the actions of the EU members as positioning to grab intelligence on Huawei. Just don't tell Dark Interregnum boy... :-)
