Dear Bill..... City of Jacksonville has a area of 2,264 km^2. Assume an average human being occupies 2x5 feet (lying down) or .92 square meters..... Therefore 2,264,000 m^2 / 0.92 m^2 is equal to 2,461,000 people..the number required to cover the area of Jacksonville. 7,000,000,000 x 0.92 people would cover 7,608,695,652 m^2 or 3,360 times the area of Jacksonville... I suggest you concentrate your thoughts on CO2... 1 barrel of oil when burned produces 432,71 kg CO2....the chart below shows why the earths CO2 concentration is rising..
