Grand jury involved in Mueller probe working 'robustly' \| TheHill A grand jury convened to examine evidence collected by Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation is continuing to operate "robustly" despite the end of Mueller's investigation, according to prosecutor David Goodhand. The prosecutor was asked about the matter Wednesday during a court hearing on whether filings in the probe related to an unidentified foreign company should be unsealed, according to The Associated Press. The grand jury is under license to continue gathering evidence until July, according to Bloomberg News. It's unclear exactly which matters the grand jury will continue to investigate before it is dissolved in July. Mueller's team announced no further indictments on Friday after the investigation concluded, but it has referred some issues to U.S. attorneys' offices. A summary of Mueller's findings released Sunday by Attorney General William Barr stated that the probe did not find evidence of a conspiracy between Moscow and Trump's campaign in the 2016 election. It also did not reach a conclusion on whether Trump obstructed Justice. Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein did determine upon reviewing Mueller's findings that there was not enough evidence to find the president obstructed justice. Democrats are demanding the release of the full Mueller report and have criticized the obstruction of justice decision. The White House and its allies celebrated the end of the Mueller investigation following Friday's announcement, declaring the president vindicated over the issue of collusion with Russia. Trump himself had frequently attacked the probe as corrupt and Mueller's team as politically-motivated agents of the "deep state" attempting to delegitimize his 2016 election victory over the course of the investigation. thehill.com
