"Analysts are going to have to take down their estimates by about $0.20 for the third quarter," said Gary Helmig, an analyst with SoundView Financial Corp. "The problems they are having with Asia and the exchange rates, they are not expecting that to clear up any time soon." Analysts expected third quarter earnings of $0.64 per share, according to First Call, before Digital advised them to lower their estimates to about $0.45, analysts said.
