What's it called when you force them to use LEDs instead of incandescents, or buy cars with better mileage?
Authoritarianism, a.k.a. the exact opposite of libertarianism, a.k.a. the exact opposite of FREEDOM.

Because it's your business whether I buy an SUV over a Chevy Bolt.

And it's your business whether I buy an incandescent or halogen bulb over an LED bulb that may or may not dim the way I like it.

It's no wonder environmentalism goes hand-in-hand with socialism. Nothing reduces our carbon footprint better than killing an economy. Venezuela probably has the lowest per-capita CO2 emissions in the Americas.
