The argued it was immoral for companies make profits and exploit poor people who needed energy... fossil fuels. They failed and now these very same companies are providing cheap energy. Fossil fuels are now so cheap, and consumed in such quantity, that the planet is being destroyed (as claimed). So, in the spirt of try, try and try again, the liberals now are demanding authoritative socialism as the solution. As I have discussed with Wharfie, liberals really don't care about CO2 and climate change. They care about government control of the economy and the power associated with such control. We see the exact liberal logic as applied to healthcare and their demand for single payer.
