Lucy P at ML doesn't have a clue what PC growth will be in 98 and 99... this is total nonsense and confirms my belief that stock analysts are the most unproductive person in society. CPQ has said that business is good and ALSO that ASIA will not have a material effect on earnings - I believe that. Let the earnings take care of this nonsense from Lucy P. It seems that ML is reiterating their buy on CPQ - so there's not much rational though going on there. ML also has a reduced stock target of 90- which is still good... not that I care what ML says in the LONG TERM. In the short term, it may dip... but I've been holding and will continue to hold my position. Tom D
