Most people think I'm crazy to be calling for a global deflationary bust & the biggest downturn in the post WWII era to get underway before the end of this year. That's pretty imminent but no sign it is poised to begin before then. Seeds are already sown however.

My target for oil is $10 & copper $1. When most investors hear deflation they think of the benign deflation we saw in Japan. This will be far more dire & be accompanied by a big involuntary debt liquidation cycle & of course a steep equity bear market and it will be global.

...... my long-held target for TLT is 160+. Should see it this year. Last yr when most everyone on the Street was saying the bond bull mkt was over & rates headed much higher I remained steadfast in my call that the bond bull mkt had one leg left that would take 10yr to 1/2%
