[Off topic] Yes there is a logic flaw in the example you gave. It states the cause as fact, when obviously the cause and effect are not necessarily related, and in fact, many more more likely explanations are possible. The other logic flaw is the use of inappropriate example to draw a conclusion. You used an unlikely cause for the smoking to prove your point, but the only conclusion one could get from your example is that all assumptions are invalid and wrong. That is simply not true, at least one will be right.

Only Michael knows why he stopped posting, he did state he might have to stop if he signs the employment agreement with Everen, a logical explanation for this would be that is what happenned, Occam's razor points the way. Could it be wrong, sure, are you arguing the point because you have a "more logical" explanation or just because you want to argue? I have no opinion as to whether or not this is true, but as long as we're going to argue points for the sake of argument ... ;-)
