Thanks for yet another knowledgeable reply, Gary. Without a crystal ball or an analyst's access, I don't know how to start analyzing what link in the data chain would have the richest margins --- but I would not argue for the end-user device in the fractious retail market. Especially if the marketing approach is the same one used toward the street last summer. :-)

Re: bandwidth. Bellatlantic prices their ISDN terribly. I'm considering a 56kb ISP account for exclusive use with a Level II feed. I'd put all other internet access over a different 33.6 dial-up. Given your experience with Trac-Online, does that sound feasible? Or will I end up submitting to the evil ISDN empire in the medium term anyway? I'll consider cable-modem or DSL as the long term solution - If and/or when they are actually available rather than just advertised. Would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you.
