The NHS (National Health Service) in the UK drains many BILLIONS OF POUNDS, annually, from UK Taxpayers, be it from individuals or business. After all, where does any Government get the Revenue it needs to pay for, or to finance, anything.

And EVERY YEAR the NHS needs even more money than it got the previous year. And as long as that SOCIALIST SYSTEM continues in its present form NOTHING WILL CHANGE, IT'S ONLY LIKELY TO GET WORSE WHEN ONE BEARS IN MIND HOW MUCH LARGER THE IMMIGRATION POPULATION HAS GROWN.

Because at the end of the day, when you offer a population something that's virtually FREE, they will abuse it and get whatever they can out of it. So you will often have a member of the public who will go to a hospital, or its clinic, for fairly minor ailments. But in so doing that person, and many others like him/her, drain the resources of a hospital because admin staff, nurses, doctors and maybe specialists have to be made available to provide a FREE medical service.

It's only when SOMEONE HAS TO PAY FOR SOMETHING OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET that they think twice before they go to a hospital o clinic, etc, because of a sore toe or a stiff neck, etc.

In my part of the world I can get immediate access to a fine hospital and its medical staff, without sitting in any queues, for about $150 a month from my Medical Aid (MA). And any x-rays, MRI scans, etc, are paid for by that Medical Aid WHILE I'M IN HOSPITAL.

There are other Medical Aid plans available which cost less and are also available to ANYONE. But one is TOTALLY COVERED WHILE IN HOSPITAL. One of the differences with the less expensive MA's is that one may only be allowed to go to certain hospitals on their list.
