Chris, great chart and great site. There are however several ways to look at it from a TA perspective. Personally I'm not concerned about whether it stays above or below the 50 d MA today. Its history and BBs tell me it is now consolidating the recent down move by moving up to the midpoint of the BBs - and that a period of high volatility is now being followed by a period of low volatility and that it may spend time around its 50d MA- enough to keep the traders guessing and enough to give comfort to the long term holders (ie through less volatility).

Personally I expect this diminished period of volatility to last until the start of the New York Toy Show- second week in February, which is after the end of the Q and about a month before earnings release. A key difference between this show and the Vegas and Hong Kong shows is the distance from the Javits center to Wall street.

my opinion only
