TDAmeritrade would not allow me to DRIP SCE-E (Southern California Edison Preferred Shares). There may have been a couple others. I collect the cash for almost everything now and spend it. I DRIP O (Realty Income). I like to watch it compound a few shares each month. It is my strategic income reserve, that is to say if for some reason our monthly income starts coming up short I can always quit the DRIP for an immediate increase. I had dividends coming in a pretty balanced group each month. Now with APU dropping out of the second month of the quarter I am going to have to rejigger something, or just keep a buffer. I like it when things can run on auto-pilot most of the time.
