Trouble for AOL brewing on the telco front: nytimes.com If Bell telcos offer ADSL ISP service, they can easily advertise their offering in the phone bill everybody gets. For the service, they can charge $30 a month and reap the benefit of owning the lines, thus having lower overhead than AOL with substantial profit margins.
