Cheeky, I don't think most guys are wimps at all. I think men are pretty wonderful, in fact (with the exception of that Neanderthal sub-group which is involved in the physical, emotional, verbal and/or sexual abuse or domination of women and children, for which there is no excuse at all). Well, forget the Neanderthal reference, because I don't want to give them a bad reputation. We don't really know that they were jerks, at all.

I do think that women and men have slightly different strengths in the sense of wimpiness. Some women can be wimpy about spiders and mice and snakes, and make spectacles of themselves jumping up on the furniture, swooning and screaming. On the other hand, because of the endurance skill set required for the survival of the species, they are really good at things like the pain of childbirth, and cheerfully leading lives full of routine and tedium. Guys usually have more upper body strength-and if killing small creatures around the house makes them squeamish they won't admit it--but women have a lot of stamina.

I think that guys who are secure enough to express their emotions, and ask for what they need, are very sexy. Vulnerability turns me on. Maybe some people would call that wimpy, but I don't!!!
