While we are on the subject of MU. Last night at about 10:30 edt, I tuned in Bloomberg tv. The Bernstein analyst (I believe Mark something, a British guy) was being interviewed about the Samsung results. The part that really impressed me was the picture he painted of the need for memory, dram, when 5g handsets become popular in 1 to 2 years. He said that each handset to receive 5g would require "much more" dram (and no more nand). His basic premise was that Samsung's profit results would explode in a year or so, and that the just past memory cycle peak was not a one time thing.
