I saw it go off his leg and honestly - I didn't know that constituted a DD. The refs should know but I think most people who saw it didn't know the rule. They won't admit it but I think that's the case for 75% of us.

I know for a fact that Bill didn't know because it wasn't a rule when he played....... back when barrel hoops were pounded to the side of a barn
