Teledesic never got going. It was just a gleam in the eye. Globalstar never succeeded mostly due to bad marketing = charging hopelessly too much to use an unused constellation but also because the satellites failed and the zenith rocket crashed 12 satellites. Iridium never did well. Both Globalstar and Iridium launched their second constellations. Globalstar kept thinking arpu was a good thing so failed again. Bad management can ruin any business opportunity. Or country. Mqurice
