Politicians, yes. People who are anti-abortion, yes. Medical practitioners, no.

It is a loaded term. By design.

It was invented to maximize an emotional response. Which is why people in the medical field don't use it.

Try to keep up. Politicians wrote the statute. Because they wanted a certain outcome. Which is why it is written in a way that totally ignores how an intact dilation and extraction is done. It is for late term only.
