I tell people it all blew off windsurfing so now I wear a helmet to protect the skin! Yeah, the fracking revolution sure changed things. One of my good windsurfing and HP friends, who is a foam-at-the-mouth-good-friend-of-Blasey-Ford liberal, told me over dinner about 20 years ago that even if we could benefit as a country from safely drilling oil from Alaska, he'd rather save it for when his kids were our age... and stay at the mercy of the ME killers who had yet to take out the twin towers... I think ECRI underestimated what the Fed could do with QE when they said a recession was unavoidable in 2011 or 2012 more than missed the Fracking Revolution. What gets me is the Tesla Lovers seem to have no trouble with their friends buying the huge Trucks that I believe are a way to get past the CAFE MPG limits for passenger cars.
