I think the stock market is not pricing in global fundamentals, because of the mistaken idea that the Fed has its back. Trump jawboned the markets by talking about QE. Powell has turned abruptly dovish. I think the bulls are being set up for a very painful correction, which I think has an excellent chance of occurring between now and October. This and the next two quarters are going to show low to negative earnings growth in the SP500. Can stocks continue to levitate under those circumstances? I have to say no. I think we have a deeper correction than 20%, maybe as bad as 30-40%. My most pessimistic view is that we get as low as 50-60%, if not this year, then by next year.
