| | | Mindmeld, the rising cost of college is one of the biggest examples of liberal elitism.
First of all, who's responsible for the rising cost of college? That's right, the colleges themselves.
Secondly, who's controlling said colleges? Liberals! They only remind us every day that people with college degrees tend to vote Democrat more than people who don't have college degrees.
Third, who tends to overvalue a college education? That's right, liberals! That explains why they come out of college with useless* liberal arts degrees like gender studies and sociology, then end up with college debts that they can't afford to pay back.
And finally, which side is prone to thinking that the more you subsidize something, the lower the costs will be? You guessed it, liberals!
This country needs to face the truth. Liberals are in complete control of higher education. They are the ones who are responsible for the astronomical cost of college these days.
Yet they won't take any responsibility for their actions. Because as we all know, being a liberal means never having to take personal responsibility for anything. You can always blame the rich white man for your troubles.

P.S. - I used an asterisk when mentioning "useless* liberal arts degrees" for a reason. Personally I don't consider them to be useless. Society can always use liberal arts majors as well as the more practical ones. But when the left overvalues their worth, they do indeed become worthless for all practical purposes. Best example would be Alexandria Occasional-Cortex and her degree in economics. |
