SPCT is using 100% of their own fab capacity. It is a brand new fab that has only been on-line for about 1.5 years. 4" wafers and upgradable to 6". They do a hell of a job for a little company and are usually only a few months behind Motorola in power device technology. They plan to sell devices externally once they can keep up with their own demands.

My spin on the two companies strengths:

SPCT: Very advanced technology and engineering in general, weak manufacturing.

PWAV: Run of the mill technology, uses designs that are readily available in data books and the literature, zero patents that I know of. Very strong manufacturing.
