That is an entirely different process, you're talking about corporate entities with boards of directors and the region fell on hard times which brought those businesses down. That's why you incorporate them.

Trump spent almost a billion dollars of his own money to pay his share of the bankruptcy deficit, and although it left him broke, he rebuilt from it. If you can't see success written all over a man after that it is because you don't get business. It is always better to survive in the first place. But failure and recovery has been a part of the stories of a LOT of successful people.
