Jeffery,
I'm truly glad you THINK FOR YOURSELF. I guess some folks here, including myself can't think for ourselves. We're just "parrots" repeating what the leading computer publications say about Iomega's products which DO affect consumer buying habits. " What else does IOMG make" - did you forget Jaz and Ditto (granted they haven't achieved the same success ZIP has - yet)

Take your head out of the sand. Learn to take credible advice if its offered. All the chart reading, TA analysis in the world won't give you any clues on future market demand for a company's product. I would hate to see your portfolio results based upon your constant ridiculous raving of "look at the charts, its the charts stupid." OK, since you love charts so much what does your crystal ball predict for IO's stock price around Q4 `96 so I can make my investment decision and make lots of money like you did.

The only way you're going to see where the computer industry is heading is to READ, READ, READ, digest and come up with your own conclusion based upon what you think is BS or credible.

How important do you think Dataquest or Disk/Trend reports are? If you can't see that they affect the purchasing decision of MIS managers in corporate America and ultimately the end consumer then you're completely igorant.
