Right.

One never knows, but your supposition seems highly unlikely. Jobs was not a one-hit wonder like those occupying Apple today.

But had he never gotten the real life experience of understanding the financial aspects of business (which really were driven home by Pixar), he could not have been as successful as he was.

I don't think Jobs should be under-rated. The country has yet to see anyone with that skill level since he died in 2011. Dennis Ritchie died a week later, and no one misses him except those few of us who actually knew who we was and how he changed the entire field of computer science. Jobs had a skill set that is unmatched in any business I know of. Perhaps you do, but we haven't seen another Jobs-era Apple and I don't think we will.
