The pickup was forced on me. No choice. It was four cans of 28 oz tomatoes. I was buying heavy dry goods that Amazon gets a lot more for because of weight. Canned fruit and tomatoes, soap, containers of cleaners. the only item that Amazon was competitive on was Tide pods, 61 count, for 19.97. Amazon has their grocery setup for heavy stuff with a large order. I was stocking up on staples.

I am only a mile from my local Walmart, but they are usually out of stock on half of these items. Since they fill orders from the store instead of a warehouse, I always end up with two or three deliveries of one order. I buy a lot from Amazon, usually small items used around the house. Almost all of my shopping is done at Costco, Walmart, Amazon or a local grocery. I bought a eight oz jar of Basil Pesto from Amazon last week for making Harry's Tomato Basil soup. Usually quite expensive and very hard to find. They had one left in stock for $2.98 PRIME. Could not believe it. Cost them more to ship it than the price.
