The article she cites analyzed the Republican candidate's "speeches, media appearances and debates" from October 10 to November 8 and tallied 164 mentions of Wikileaks. And while PolitiFact's own analysis only returned 137 mentions of WikiLeaks during campaign rallies, interviews, speeches, his tweets and other social media presence, and debates, the independent fact-checking site said that the 164 figure seems plausible because he often referenced the organization's actions without saying their actual name.
And, more importantly, it shows that he did indeed repeatedly encourage his supporters to talk about the emails while often describing them inaccurately.
"Hillary Clinton, as WikiLeaks proves, is a corrupt globalist," he declared at a rally on October 21.
"I love WikiLeaks," he said on October 10.
WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, was arrested this morning by British police due to a U.S. warrant.
