*ALL* CVIA Clearinghouse: just received the following question from Ken <ra0958@email.sps.mot.com>. Wayne, please forward this question to Jack after he gets back. Thanks! -Milk

"...i question what jack arnold envisions when he thinks of the future of this company. it seems the name "wal-mart" comes up once in a while with respect to the route he would LIKE it to take.
"wal-mart" has cornered a certain niche as far as global wholesale goes.
if jack wants this type of business then shouldn't we be talking more of "pep-boys" which is growing as a de facto standard for wholesale
automotive needs?
or is he sticking solely to tires and oil? which means the models we use should be more "jiffy lube" etc.
i guess the big question is exactly what would make this business
successful (other than good management)? what does it offer that othersdon't? these are all business 101 questions that i am not sure have been asked yet or not; furthermore, there are several short term things that need to happen before the above, but i am forward thinking...thanks in advance.
