You do realize the Green New Deal is fashioned after FDR's "New Deal" whereby he made millions of jobs for people when first elected to address the great depression.

They reelected him three times!

History calls him a hero and one of our best. The three Republicans in the 20's, Harding , Coolidge and Hoover caused the great depression and then Hoover who was in at the time refused to help. The Republican mantra was:" let the depression run, it gets rid of the dead wood.

They think the same thing today.

Have you seen our homeless problem or income inequality?

Yes I do think it is a losing issue. It's even hosted on the Green Parties website. There is a winning formula for you DNC Candidate running on the Green Parties Green New Deal which is one of the many ways it will be sold. It also has some significant challenges.

We will have employment offices instead of unemployment offices? So government will control labor.

The Green New Deal includes an Economic Bill of Rights, which ensures all citizens the right to employment through a Full-Employment Program that will create 20 million jobs by implementing a nationally funded, but locally controlled direct-employment initiative. We will replace unemployment offices with local employment offices offering public sector jobs that are “stored” in job banks in order to take up any slack in private sector employment.-- gp.org
I think the Green New Deal ensures nothing less then 4 more years.
