Hi OAG,

Great trading!

I enjoy trading around a core position.

I especially like selling puts on lower strike prices.

As an example - you could sell CY 13.00 puts for 45 / 55 cents on the January 2020's. I bet on a sell off day in the market you could double to triple that premium. That's two to three times the dividend for the whole year. Getting 1.25 a year on a $15.00 stock is a solid return. The worst that would happen is you'd buy some more Cypress for $14.20. Hold it a year and sell off you highest priced shares. getting 80 cents (put premium) plus 44 cents dividend = 1.24 / 14.20 = 8.7% better than a bank!
I adds to the cash and if assigned it lowers my cost of sales.

I hold it for a year and selloff my highest price shares.

The stocks in my account all pay dividends.

So I always hold shares assigned for a year and get into capital gains tax rates 15% or dividends at max of 20%.

I sold 5000 shares of Cohu last year at 23.00 and then doubled down by selling 100 15.00 puts on May 2019.

I really never dreamed of being close to getting them, but it may just come my way.

If assigned I'll buy them for 14.35 - I'm OK with that.

If not I'll sell some November 12.50's and 10.00's if price drops below 15 again.

Kirk is the best at doing that. Trying to learn from him.

I like CY. I think they will benefit from being a USA chip maker. Their entry into wafer scale chip packaging is a high growth area and I like their move into Internet of things with rf chips. Their 11 cent dividend is nice also.

I sold a bunch of 12.00 puts but they expired to 00.00.

I'm a bit levered up right now with some puts sold out into next January on T @ 30.00, XOM @ 70 and CVZ at 100.

That gives me time to work on some long overdue projects - a 56 and 57 corvettes and my upcoming garden in Wisconsin.

I'm planning on trailering the two vettes up this early spring, for storage and some restoration. Mostly just to get everything in one place and begin the frame disassembly on the 57 fuelie. The 56 is a nice texas parts car with no title good parts. The best of both cars will go into the 57.

In mid July I'm trailering my 55 nomad to a craftsman in Kansas - the 56 2 fours 265 will go into that.

I will be elated to see these very long time possessions start to get finished.

I'm not hurrying as I find it to be a lot of fun working with my hands

It is very rewarding to see an old neglected vehicle get a new lease on life.

Those old cars are really quite simple, but hard to have all the parts. I'm quite complete. If not I'll go restomod / rat rod on the 56 body and frame with no title - or apply for the title.

Need to get them done and then raise some hell in Elkhart Lake. LMAO

I'll holler when I get up there.

Bob
