Reading the Shaft Creek report I see 2019 will engage a Conceptual Study. On costs and economics. Basically another word for desk top study seeking various how approaches in an attempt to improve a project which has, or is suggested to have, less than desirable or low economic returns. On a small resource it is most times sold off or placed in the pantry till mineral prices are higher. On a large project with a decent LOM that will endure a number of cycles. Companies are more attuned to deeper explore various methods to either make it sustainable through all cycles once in production , Or improve the projects so as to attain the best price available if offered for sale.

In mining A conceptual study is described as follows

A scoping, or conceptual study, based on limited hard data, to assess the economic potential of a project early on in the project’s life (screening).
The study may be based on inferred mineral resources, with mining and process costs being estimated from similar operations.
The level of accuracy is generally in the range of 25% to 30%.
