Again, that creates two new sets of questions... predating the investigations being started, or made public...

One of course is... what did Obama know and when did he know it ? We know already from Strock/Page pillow talk that "the White House wanted to stay informed of what we're doing" ?

The bigger issues, still...

1.) Open mic... "more flexible after the election"

Back to the net neutrality debate... about then...

2.) As part of "opening up the internet" Obama decided to surrender U.S. control over the internet... allowing Russia and China to have a much bigger say in how it operates... Why ?

3.) And, as a part of that, having made a decision, Obama also had to decide how we were going to handle internet security in the new regime... to prevent problems

4.) And as a part of that a discussion was held about how we'd view it, in the future... on the off chance, that, say, Russia hacked us in the future, in this new regime. Would we go to war over an attack on the net... or not ?

5.) Obama was derisive in addressing it... in another "JV team" moment... which I noted at the time would have the inevitable consequence of inviting... exactly what did happen.

Obama was there at every step... enabling it... but, probably just coincidence ?
