I've toyed with buying a separate device for several years. Nothing has ever filled all the checkboxes. I am particularly interested in a voice-command device that can search content. It gets really old doing the search and peck with the remote on Youtube's app every Saturday morning trying to search out shows for my daughter. For years now I have had a Sony networked Bluray player with built-in Amazon Prime and Youtube apps that works fine. My Yamaha receiver also has some apps built-in as well. I am intrigued at either a Roku, or an Amazon Fire TV Cube coupled with the soon to be released Harmony universal remote with Alexa built-in: amazon.com
