Hi Hammer,

Nice portfolio diversification and some names I admire and hope to have some day.

So far I developed positions in T, XOM CVX, KMI, and GSK,.

I look for weakness in price as it bounces on or a bit below 3 year lows.

Have always loved HON and LMT - They just seem to go up so far.<smile>

I have tried to be sector opportunistic, with energy being the best 3 year opportunity.

No rush.

I try to remind my self, if one had bought semi's in 2000 -2003, Banks in 2009-2010 Energy in 2014-2016, they'd be up and comfortable with a nice dividend stream to pick up more shares within the next disaster sector.

I have a hunch that pharma may be the next sector that has headwinds. The politicians are focusing on why the US must pay more than the rest of the world - and I agree with that. I even think the Dems and Repubs can agree on that.

I suspect it is because of money lobbyists and money hand outs.

The entire health sector needs to have open competition and clear pricing disclosure, rather than the under the table / hidden pricing discounts within the insurance industry.

No hurry as that will take A LONG time to get hashed over - years! Profitability questions and uncertainty will dilute price within the sector.

After having acquired some good paying dividends by selling far out puts, I hesitate to sell calls on my hard earned shares. YET, that was certainly part of the original intent.

I will be more inclined to sell calls if/when I think the underlying price is near a historical top.

I did manage to get that done on COHU and BRKS when they got carried away last year and fortunately I got lucky, and held onto the shares. It helps keep one's attitude proper in declines.

Thanks for your insight on CVX.

I've got one month to get through past put sales and I'll dabble in some shorter term CVX puts.

Bob
