The problem exposed is not one "in U.S. politics" that's about anything truly partisan in political terms... but in terms of the composition of the teams in the theater of tag team wrestling in politics ? Trump came out of the audience and tagged in... which was not in the script.
Trump having disrupted the cohesion and flow of the events on one side... that leaves the problem now as one largely confined to one side... the other side... that's now far more about the results of one side's serious dysfunction in reason than it is about rational political divisions based on ideas.
Search for "Obama's Transformational" and you'll get a slew of opinion from the usual suspects... most of which is premature... hopeful... and wrong.
I told my lefty friends, in Feb/Mar 2008, as they were more "assaulting" rather than "taunting" me with the inevitability of Hillary winning the nomination and the Presidency... that, no, that wouldn't happen... that Obama would win the nomination, and he (and not the sock puppet McCain) would win the Presidency... and that, a couple of months in, it would be clear to them that virtually none of the left's desired outcomes would happen... that he'd be seen failing, perhaps intending to fail, in each instance... victories would crumble, and he'd become indistinguishable from Bush in things they said they cared about... but otherwise he'd be more destructive than they imagined in things no one noted. They scoffed... but, here we are. They were butt hurt when Obama won, and haven't changed since... more galled than most since I told them what was coming and they could see it happening.
That's not me claiming Obama was going to be transformational... in the way the media hoped... except for... ?
But it is clear that Obama played the role of a modern day Guy Fawkes, only in a context where all the members of Parliament are such sock puppets that you don't need to blow them up... only need to tell them what to do, and they're so brainless they'll do it.
The bombs were metaphorical not physical in relation to the building and the people... but, in relation to the intent in the direction of the policy and the outcomes of the choices ?
Globalism (and its un-elected champions)... to succeed... needed to suppress American opposition, and needed to take down the U.S. through subversion... to eliminate its ability to resist them in real terms. China was intended to be their new champion ? The Clinton's... had already sold out to China and the "un-elected champions" of Globalism ?
Obama was their guy... which explains all of the vagaries in his "history" well enough ? Hillary started the "birther" movement... not because Obama wasn't born in Hawaii, but as a deflection... because he wasn't a natural born citizen... given his father was a British subject... making Obama ineligible for the office.
Obama was to be the agent provacateur... Hillary the stable hand of experience... guiding us over the cliff.
Some will find it hard, in the near future, to determine whether the outcomes seen in hindsight were a result of ignorance and stupidity enabling blunders in the choices made, or were instead the result of deliberate calculation and the careful placement of bombs... some few or which are only now beginning to be detected...
From this post. forward I've addressed the same issue a couple of time, while approaching it from two or three different vectors.
The inundation of Europe with Islamists... is the same thing as what I'm discussing in its different impacts here. The events are not random... but the result of deliberate choices made... by the "leaders" of institutions... who aren't honest actors responding to the will of voters... but are usurpers redirecting their energies.
Trump was not supposed to win... which did not alter what had already occurred in the prior eight years of "laying the ground work" for Hillary... but his election did dramatically alter the utility of that work, the impact of its exposure, and the probability of success in the wake of Trumps win...
Everything since then... has been obstruction... not by Trump, but of Trump...
