From a December press release: Dec. 23, 1997, International Nursing Services Inc. (Nasdaq:NURS - news) said shareholders at an annual meeting on January 30 will vote on a reverse stock split on common and a change of the company's name to Medix Resources Inc. NURS stated that the reverse split will take place if on February 2 the reported last sale price of the company's stock has not been over $1.25 for each of the previous 10 days. The reverse split could range from one-for-two to one-for-ten. The effective date of the reverse split will be February 18.
