That's a fascinating trend and I can verify that my 18 year old granddaughter and most of her female friends still do not have their drivers licenses. And the boys are slower to get them as well. Maybe it's smartphones... if they are connected that way, less motivation to drive and meet friends? Anyway I think it's a great trend. I got my driver's license within a week of turning 16.
