Here is the reply of Dennis Hefter, IMCX CFO, to our question about the competition facing Imagematrix:

> Jim, Of the companies listed by "Sand Wedge", only two are real
competitors. Macess and IPD offer similar imaging and workflow solutions for healthcare insurance. However, neither has the customer service backend like ImageMatrix. These are currently the only 3 companies with health insurance imaging and workflow products.

Other competitors without "packaged" products include integrators, IBM, ViewStar, Optika, Eastman Software, and others. We rarely compete with these companies.

AMS is partner with ImageMatrix. It is an $800M integrator, not a
product company. ImageMatrix and AMS have a formal relationship where AMS markets ImageMatrix products and ImageMatrix uses AMS technical resources during its peak implementation periods.

LanVision has an imaging and workflow product for the medical side of the business. They are not a competitor of ImageMatrix, nor is SMS.
Thanks for your interest. Hopefully this answers your questions.
