I am going to differ from others here, and say this is not a good time to buy MMM. That quarterly report was shockingly bad, coming from a well-regarded blue-chip dividend champion. I have never owned the stock, but it's been near the top of my candidates list for a while. But now I'd want to see a substantially lower price, or a few quarters of better results, not cutting guidance, etc.
