WDC had $2.67b of inventory in Q1 2018.

They had $3.4b of inventory in Q4 2018.

I'll bet the number goes up when they report Q1 2019.

All of that excess inventory has to sell before prices can stablize.

And yet, the nature of the modern day fab is that it is so expensive to build, once it's up an running it MUST be run at 100% capacity in order to get the value out of the massive capital expenditures required to build the fab, So, how can inventory go down when WDC is constantly producing more bits more efficiently and thus increasing supply more and more and more?

I just don't see how this ends OK for these guys.......
