Dogs have two motivations, food and praise. And additionally, their attention span (to cause and effect) is only about 5 - 10 seconds. These two facts are the key to any successful dog training and everything else builds on top of these.

You need to start with baby steps and immediate rewards. Try leaving home and returning before the dog can bark. Then give her a dogie biscuit and a praise. Slowly, increase the time span of how long you are out, making sure to return before the dog barks. Keep the training sessions short - about 5 minutes and repeat 2 - 4 times a day. You should be able to fix this habit within a month (maybe less, depending on the dog).

An added twist is that if your dog is crate/mat/basket trained, then you can have her go to her crate/mat/basket about 10 minutes before you leave [alternatively choose another calming activity, if she has one]. Then repeat the above process of leaving and returning with a reward for no barking.
