This IDT news is all well and good, but do they have a plan for the infrastructure as FNET does? We are aligned with Gridnet which gives us access to 80% (or something like that) of the phones in this country. IDT could certainly have the phone to phone technology, but do they have the means to put their voice servers in as many strategic locations? Great technology alone will not win this battle. Over the past year, FTEL has been publicly silent with many of their plans so that they could have a head start on competition like this which they knew would appear. Good plan. But now that other companies ARE announcing their intentions, I think it's time for FNET to counter with their own announcements, otherwise we could be left behind in the dust (publicity-wise) in the short term. If there are some strategic secrets that need to be kept, fine, but it would be nice to see an FTEL announcement similar IDT's. Roy
