Thank God Asia Pacific is a big region--Everybody likes China. Ascend Commuinications is the latest tech company with broad Asia exposure to report earnings 2-3 cents above expectation thanks in large part to China. Mory Ejabat, President and CEO of Ascend, stated in the commentary to Ascend's just-released earnings: "Even in Asia Pacific there were several bright spots, the most notable being China which saw strong quarter-over-quarter growth." One can expect China to be equally strong for Cube, including 1998. Ron.
